    Fast Food Fact

    The double-decker hamburger was created at Bob's Big Boy as a joke. A jazz musician, and frequent customer, had complained that he was tired of what the menu had to offer. To avoid a beef, the chef cut the top off a bun and added another layer to Bob's burgers. The rest is roadside eatery history.
