Given the amount of cheese that seems to eat up every corner
of South of the Border, Peddlers Steak House is surprisingly elegant.
Inside the giant sombrero, meats are grilled to perfection. The salad
bar seems as large as the 25-foot gorilla outside Pedro's T-shirt Shop
and the service is simply to tequila for.
The one drawback to eating in a round sombrero is that cocktails
seem to have a much stronger dizzying effect. On the flip side,
you can be confident the water in your ice-cubes is safe.
