Route 192 casts a large net in order to appeal to the diverse pallets of Orlando tourists. Hooking their attention is not easy, even if you are a “World Famous Seafood Buffet,” as is the claim of Boston Lobster Feast.
Perhaps bugged by the fierce competition on this strip, Boston Buffet decided to make their presence known by parking a VW roadside and topping it off with a heaping helping of lobster. The 12-foot crustacean is named Larry. Owner Jeff Hazell says if you see Larry driving around town, ask for free drink coupons.
Hazell owns three such restaurants in the area. Each has their own special trappings. Sometimes it is a lobster like Larry, at other locations you may catch a giant crab on the roof of the building.
"We serve the largest lobsters you will see anywhere in the world!"
